I own a 2012 STI and I love it but s2k's are badass cars too man. We as car enthusiasts should respect one another's​ cars, setups, differences, and opinions.

Sick of seeing comments like "yeah but what if ...."  "but if it had a bigger turbo.." "but if it had nos" Who gives a fuck, whatever car won, won. Stop worrying about "what if". Annoying as fuck. Ofcourse whatever situation you think up in your head and write out is gonna be in the favour of the car you want to win. If your favourite car loses to another car, boohoo. The other car is faster. If your favourite car beats another car, good on ya. The other car is slower. You're never gonna be the slowests OR the fastest so stop crying.

The S2000 had driver had a noticeably quicker reaction time...minimizing the AWD advantage.

subies are not slow lmao facts are their gearing really sucks for high hp applications just like anything else it needs to be built accordingly. great race love both cars but I like the convertible more

Not sure where all the butthurt is coming from. The STI clearly has the advantage of horsepower. I was honestly surprised the S2000 appeared to keep up for that long. STi has torque and and also slightly longer gears which help once speeds get above 60. Each car is good at different things.

Plain and simple if they had started from a 30 mph roll the S2k would of probably won that one but from the jump STI is always beat it

Sorry boys my launch control was at 4500 instead of 5500 so it fucked up my launch . The Honda wasn't stock neither was my 06 sti

S2000 had a bad launch. You have to feather the clutch from 8k to get a good launch, he fell below vtec and the STI whooped him with all that torque! Nice race though, close.

I think some of you need to realize that the S2k is rear wheel drive while the STi is AWD. AWD from a dig has a HUGE advantage.
