Disagreement is inevitable, but division is a choice. As we navigate yet another heated election season, there is a path through the turmoil, even for those who don’t identify as religious. We can bridge our differences and make a real impact without falling into the traps of division and fear.

Andy: Thank you for your wisdom, courage, and insightfulness! Posting such a message is exactly what our country needs to hear at this critical inflection point. As a husband, father, and small business owner, I have seen the ramifications of radicalization first hand (from the left and the right).

Being a leader and a follower both require thoughtfulness, and nobody thought and responded better to situations than Jesus. I don’t always get it right, but I certainly keep it between the guide rails (another excellent Andy message).

Honor, compassion, work ethic, morality, service to others, selflessness, trustworthiness, and dignity- those are the traits of a true leader, the leader I work to be and the leader I will be voting for this election.

In all that time I've not heard you explicitly address elections, politics, parties or candidates. And that's a wonderful thing. Good morning Andy, the politics of fear and division exists in most countries if not all, including mine Australia, the Land Down Under. We the people are the only one's who can change this situation. The divide and conquer is a well-known and highly utilised decision-making stratergy. You have articulated with great grace and neutrality the current tumultuous fear driven emotional climate that is currently engulfing America, add to the global sabre rattling that is epidemic and it just adds to the retric! It is a poignant reminder to us all that disharmony, disunity or evil, or whatever you wantbto label the current situation willmcontinue flourishing unless Good People Stand Up Against IT, not each other. We have been given the greatest examples of love humility and toletance by the most influential Leader this world has and Will ever seen and many of us know! I fully agree to not be manipulated by fear. Decisions made out of fear are rarely good decisions. I don't think the USA is currently playing a fair game though and Christians need to test politicians against the bible and the life and teaching of Jesus. Unity is the way, but unity means respect, equality and fairness for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity or sexual preference. Jesus showed love to everyone, including those that had been identified as "untouchable" by the church authorities.

If there is evil intent in American politics, it needs to be recognized and brought into the light. From outside of the USA, we see an undertone of racism and supremacy that no-one wants to acknowledge, including the evangelical church.

Good luck America! Be brave and courageous. Do the right thing and don't vote out of fear. Your neighbors to the north are counting on you to protect human rights and democracy 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
