I found it enjoyable to see the city's western-style fast-growing areas, particularly Ayala Atria Park on Pison Ave. to SM City.
There's another budget hotel next to it, I think you're already familiar with it. It's called the Hop Inn Hotel. It's newly opened 4 months ago. It operates 100 hotels in Thailand, 15 hotels in the Philippines, and 35 hotels in other APAC countries. I'm praying for your quick recovery. By the power of prayers, you will be healed.

Hey Ginno. I stayed there for a night and I thought it was better than the Hop Inn located just around the building from Figtree. Yes it’s a small room but it was comfortable and the CR was clean and spacious. My shower had a glass door rather than curtain. I like the fact they had a restaurant at the top floor, which Hop Inn did not. Also, Jollibee was only a short walk across the street. If ever I come to Iloilo for a visit, Figtree Hotel will likely be my choice.

nice walk through part of Iloilo city. I'm getting really excited about my trip there in about 2 weeks now. I'll be staying in a condo near festive walk for about a month while I look for a long-term rental there. I want to see many parts of Iloilo city before I decide where to plant myself for the long run. Must be furnished for a while, then eventually I'll get a small house, 2 bdrm, then start to furnish it. I hope your visit there will end with good news. Say hello to Dazel and Leana for me.

Thank you for your service. I'm also a Retired Air Force And was a Pilot for 30 years and was at Clark AFB for 6 years. I remember the days when it was $35 USD a month to rent a house in Cebu. I have been looking at AIRBNB in the Davao area and the average is $2000 USD that is not a bad price but it's limited on the power usage which makes this a bad price. I will be back in the Philippines within the next year and I plan to buy a Townhouse in Davao and I have already talked to a realtor in the US and the Philippines. I just wanted to send my Greetings since we are both Brother in Arms and I served with many pilipinos when I was in the military.
