How to use Miracast on your Toyota

Miracast is available on most Toyota Audio units like the one shown in the video from around 2017 onwards. Remember to check if your Android phone is compatible with Miracast first before trying this out!

One note for successfully starting it - you should disconnect your phone from any other known WiFi networks nearby. My phone was initially connected to a dash camera WiFi that I have installed in the car and the Miracast could not find the phone. When disconnecting from other networks but still with phone WiFi turned on, I was able to use Miracast on my Rav4 Prime.

I have a 2019 camry, and from what ive seen and read you should be able to do it to the 2019 but i cant find a mirror cast option. Where can i get it???

But the moment you put your vehicle on D drive mode the casting stops. Even the rear screens dont work!

Hmmm I just got a Toyota Sienna 2023 yesterday and that app is not on there. I hope that it's because it's new and it will be added in a future software update.

my 2022 corolla comes with miracast and it works perfect with my NOTE 10+. I can mirror netflix to the car :)
