As many of you have seen from Takara Tomy's official unboxing, Variant Lucifer's 2D Chassis can use its rubber blades to extend out and act as a barrier to block attacks. It's definitely a super creative gimmick! Almost all the parts of this combo would be welcomed by any Bey collector. That Mobius Driver is free-spinning and designed similarly to the popular Bearing Driver. You can't forget about the black Sparking Launcher, either. Even if you're not a fan of Variant Lucifer's ability or performance, there's a ton of reasons to buy this starter pack.

The barrier ability on this Bey is SICKKK! Very creative concept from Takara Tomy here. The rubber blades do a pretty good job at absorbing initial attacks, but can be the cause of stamina loss once the battle progresses. This might not actually be the ultimate defense combo in stock form, but you NEED to get this Bey anyways! Such a unique design and that black Sparking Launcher is BEAUTIFUL.
