Markov left Montréal without recieving any special thx. One of the best defensemen to ever play for Mtl Canadien.
Subban and Markov were fucking amazing on the power play.

The Habs went downhill when Markov left as they lost that foundation rock on the blueline (thanks to the incompetent choices of Bergevin). Even Subban attests that Markov helped his game quite a bit. He deserves to be at least honoured by the Habs as played his entire NHL career with them.

Loved Markov but he got greedy and put himself before the team. Not saying Bergevin is blameless but if Markov had really wanted to end his career in Mtl. he would’ve settled for less than he was asking.
