Lots of straight lines can touch a circle. Diameter, radius, chord, and tangents are all straight lines touching a circle.

So many people in this comment section are confused. It is "tangent".
Many people are confusing the wording of "touching". Actually the Question is correctly worded.
When a line makes contact with a curve at a single point with a right angle with the radial direction of the curve. The contact is termed as "touching" and the line is defined as to be "tangent". Any other form of contact of a line with a curve is termed as "intersection".
Touching and intersection are two fundamentally different words do not confuse the two with each other.
Definition of tangent to circle as "the line which touches the circle" is in itself sufficient and complete because after touching once it cannot further intersect the circle. So the tangent line gives only one solution with the circle.

Note: In case of some other curves, this definition of tangent might be insufficient and flawed as tangent can intersect at more than one point. But it does not steal its property to be a tangent.
Tangent to a curve is a "differential property" it means that the property is constricted to the "point of interest" and not what the line is going to do at other points of the curve.

For those who don't know, the answer is the Diameter.
Diameter meaning: A diameter straight line passing through the center of a figure or body. especially : a line segment through the center of a circle with its ends on the circle's circumference.

Icl I dont know what it means by touching exactly, but I think its probably either chord (line inside circle) or tangent (90 degrees to the radius)
