EDTalks: Dr. Keith Mayes 'Toward a Critical Theory of Blackness in the K-12 Classroom'

Dr. Keith Mayes is a professor in the University of Minnesota Department of African American & African Studies. His teaching and research interests include civil rights policy and the law, race and education pedagogy and multiculturalism and diversity. Dr. Mayes has also taught in the Minnesota State Colleges and University System (MNSCU) and consults with school districts on curriculum development, institutional diversity and equity and student retention.
