I didn't know why funk guys were so set on shortening notes, but covers like these taught me why... the tightness just fizzles out. I guess the stretchy feel could be a preference though

Quite nice in its own way. Thick and rich; so chunky I was tempted to eat it with a fork. On some days I prefer this, but on other days I prefer the extremely light and super funky version done by Victor Wooten, Tuck Andreas, et al. Thanks for sharing this.
