One thing I wanted to clarify, in 2006 the place Roblox got the sound pack from was a piracy website, they did not buy it. The internet was a lot different in 2006 and that site was either shutdown a week later or it was the piratebay. Most likely someone at Roblox got this sound and didn't tell how they got it, because of Roblox being new they probably didn't care and just was in a rush to push the game out.

Roblox removing the oof sound is like removing one of their organs. It was such a key part of roblox, and it will be missed.

I'm pretty sure that the "OOF" sound was really iconic and was in the game for many years, even players loved it as it was so Og to the fact it was apart of the game.

1. Removing creepers from minecraft.
2. Removing pan from Pubg.
3. Removing default dance and building from Fortnite.
4. Removing tears from The Binding of Isaac.
5. Removing gyms from Pokemon (oh... wait...)
6. Removing "Objection!" from Ace Attorney.
7. Removing jumping from Geometry Dash.
8. Removing Eye Of Chtulhu from Terraria.
9. Removing Wilson from Don't Starve.
10. Removing Birds from Angry Birds.
11. Removing Heavy from TF 2.
12. Removing guns from CS:GO.

The oof sound effect was so iconic and nostalgic to myself and others. I totally get why it had to be taken down, though the new one sounds like some weird beatbox noise.

I'm heartbroken tbh, I loved the oof sound. I remember playing Roblox for the first time and hearing the oof sound. But, it's not really Roblox's fault since it was for copyright reasons.
