Remote Sensing & GIS for the identification, demarcation, and modelling of wetland ecosystems

On July 30th 2023, YESS organised a webinar with Dr. Rajashree Naik focusing on the current assessment and future prediction of saline wetlands using GIS and Remote Sensing data. Dr. Rajashree demonstrated the fundamentals and methodologies used in her research for a specific case study of India's largest saline lake. The use of remote sensing and GIS for any general wetland identification, LULC classification using ArcGIS and Terrset for future prediction were be demonstrated.
