You did a good job. I’m 53 and it took me a long time to “get” Kraftwerk. They influenced every band I still love today. The only thing that I would slightly disagree with is your passing over Minimum-Maximum. I purchased the dvd, not the cd’s. For me, this was the first time I ever heard Kraftwerk with remastered sound and it was where my love of and understanding of their music took root. It was a great way of putting all of the tracks on equal footing and there is really very little crowd noise. After that I began trying to acquire all of their cd’s since over the years I had only purchased two. As I neared the end the Catalogue box set came out. The writings about the band since Florian’s death routinely cite them as the “electronic Beatles.” Many have gone even further saying they are even more influential than the Beatles since The Beatles took a genre of music that already existed and greatly expanded it, while Kraftwerk for the most part, invented a new one. If you look at the people who have sampled them or been influenced you get almost every band with a synth. Jay-z, Dr. Dre, Coldplay, Madonna, to name a few of the people who used their music. I didn’t want to accept it when I was younger, but without Kraftwerk none of my favorite bands would exist. I absolutely love that you will listen to your Grandpa’s music and talk about it with him. 👍🏻

Sorry if I make any mistakes in the video, I am not an expert on what each member did in Kraftwerk.
