Easiest Way To Crash Super Mario 64

Also works on the actual Nintendo 64 console!
This appears to be the easiest way to crash Super Mario 64. Other videos on this might show additional steps, but I discovered that all it takes is going to the green panel fast enough (make sure "No saved data exists" appears at the top), then the red panel, then YES.
(You might need file Mario B to be empty in order to do this but I haven't checked yet)

Edit: It actually worked. "Software closed due to an error"

corrupting the game is freaking hilarious to do. you can get some insane results with weird hacks and corruption codes

I dunno if anyone else knows this, but, if you grab the monkey in Tall Tall Mountain, use a Moon Jump code, and fly off the platform where the monkey stays, finish the text, the let him go, the game crashes as soon as the monkey touches the floor, dunno about dropping him off the map though

I just attempted this on both switch versions, and my findings were interesting. The 3D All Stars version crashes out of the entire game upon doing this, which is surprising considering that they tried to make that version perform better. The NSO version, however, just proceeds to delete the file with no issues at all. It calls the file it deletes "Mario 9". I don't know if this indicates more than 4 save files, but what I'm more confused by is why the crash wouldn't work in the first place.

I bet the reason the crash happens is because you delete a save file that doesn’t even exist or it’s invalid, I know this because in some video games like Paper Mario 64 if you use glitches, if the game tries to move non-existing objects or invalid objects the game will crash, something similar happened right here when you try to delete a file that doesn’t exist or it’s invalid

It actually didnt crash in my emulator! It just said File 9 just erased
