Giant BD-5J - Extreme Low and Fast

Markus Rummer flies the Jet from Gernot Bruckmann with a smaller version of Gernot in the cockpit.
In occasion of the 15 th anniversary of EMOTEC, together with IRC Electronic and Hacker Motor a small air show took place at the airfield of MFC Hurlach, near Landsberg/Lech.

Had a BD5 years ago, man I miss that plane. Mine wasn’t a turbine. Mine had a 16-25-3 mega brushless motor pushing a 6.5 X 5 to 7 X 5 prop run on 4 S. Man I miss that plane. Yours was much bigger than mine was but it was beautiful just the same!!! Bravo, looked like you touched your wing tip on one of those low tight turns!!!

Holy... smokes ... Horst!  A sweet jet and an awesome piloting by Markus!  Great low and slow passes and some "hot" ones as well!  Usually when I do a wing touch, it's closely followed by the fuselage touch as well, AKA crashing!  Excellent camerawork, editing and video bringing it to us as alway as well Horst, well done!  BIG thumbs up and Danke for sharing!  Beas regards Horst!

Must have missed this Horst. In fact was just watching a cockpit flight in the real thing - which wasn't a whole lot bigger. Fantastic little jet. Boy, was that ever a low pass (or two) and, phew, even a wing touch!
