It’s so weird cause it’s felt like AJ has been here forever, but like it’s only been FIVE YEARS!! I remember watching it live and going absolutely bananas. At the time, I think everyone always fantasized the idea of AJ in the fed, but it was even crazier seeing him debut in a Rumble match, in Orlando of all places 😂😂

If you didn't know who AJ Styles was before he was signed in WWE, you wouldn't know the reason for the huge pop. That standing ovation stemmed from fans watching the guy for years build his career in TNA and NJPW. He always put on great matches and a lot of us wished for years to see this guy in a WWE ring. You'd know that if he was signed, he'd be one of their top guys. That ovation he got in his debut was earned.
