What really gets me is that this implies that Thanos the Mad Titan and Flash Thompson, local jock, have some sort of history that resulted in some sort of respect.

*The Final Fight has finally come*

Flash Thompson, a Bully, an all brawn 0 brain they would say, that’s what our protagonist was thinking at that very second, while getting his iconic polo outta his box after all those years, years he felt unworthy to use it.

“That’s how they will remember me…”

He said.

Then he put on his polo on, one last time.

“But that’s not who I am.”

Thanos has arrived Wakanda, and Flash was there, the fight were really equilibrated, but then the purple assed antagonist met face to face to our polo’d pointy haired hero.

They look into the eyes of the other, they were preparing themselves all those years for that moment, the moment that would define the Victory.

Thanos stopped in front of Thompson.

— I don’t wanna fight you, Flash. —. Thanos said.

Flash then remembered all those moments that everybody just make him feel useless, all those times he made the mistake of abusing others because of his own anger. Flash was terrified, he knew that even with his training during years, he had no chance to fight the Bald Purple Simp.

Thanos began to walk towards his opponent, they respected each other, but the values of their missions were just way too expensier than that respect.

Flash remembered one last time that time Mary Jane Watson leave him because on her own words, Flash was just a grown baby that bullies other people because he’s just too insecure to talk about his feelings.

Even in that moment, Flash couldn’t talk about those painful feelings, but then he remembered the only thing he considered himself good at: fighting.

Flash then began to lift up his fists into the air, lifting up his guard too, he worked so hard redeeming himself and now he was in front of the very mad titan. Maybe everyone thought he was a bully, a big baby.

But that’s no who he is, not anymore, and it’s time to make it sure, with one last sacrifice.

— I wouldn’t wanna fight me either. —

Thanos looked at him, and Thompson looked him back.

— Fine. —. The Mad Titan said. – I hope they remember you. —

And they did, Thanos.
