That’s right I know the new guy came in but I’m pulling for our guys that we have already not hate or nothing I believe in the players we already have. Just like Blake said it’s a test.

Feels like a civil war right now. I hope things settle down and we can learn to figure this thing out. Roll Tide. I am for the team.

Words of wisdom coming from the guy that had little chance. We will be fine at QB. I’m pretty confident that one of these two will end up being our starter. It’s looking like Bama will rely heavily on the running game, I would think that favors Jalens skill set the best, but we will need to be able to pass the ball also. It will come down to making the right reads, going through the progressions to find the open guy. Our WRs will be able to help, by getting separation and catching the ball. The TEs will be a safety valve for the QB. They provide a huge target. Again getting open and catching the ball is key. Look for there to be a lot of short, safe passes to build a rhythm and confidence in our QBs. Once we cross midfield we will take more shots downfield. They are lucky to have weapons that will help carry the load. Last year Bama relied heavily on Bryce to make something happen. The Oline allowed a lot of pressure and our WRs didn’t get separation, and they dropped a lot of passes. If Bama is to contend, our defense needs to be clutch. The QB can’t afford to hurt us by turning the ball over. Whoever makes the right decisions and protects the football will win the Job. I actually think we will see both QBs getting game time. That’s not so one looks over their shoulder, but gets reps incase there is an injury. Adding Buchner gives Bama more experience and more competition. That news should make every Player do a mental evaluation.

Whomever the QB is going to be, they need to take control. Become a leader and demand the respect of the other players through their actions.
That being said, someone in that receiving room needs to step up as well. Hold each one responsible for all the dropped passes and gator arms. It looked like the DBs had them scared to death! I probably would be too if I heard the footsteps of Pope coming near me. If the WR don't step up, it don't make a damn who the QB is. Anyone who wins the job will look like they're incompetent without someone to catch the ball.

Man if you Jalen Milroe or Ty Simpson, you just have to think about your story. In my mind I would be thinking this just makes it perfect. Go ahead and add this chapter in my book. Cause when I show this guy, the other qb's, this team, this coaching staff, this conference, and this world who I am... They're going to bust balls laughing at them bringing in someone else when it's all said and done.

Maybe Sims can get Milroe hooked up with the Maestro QB academy like he got?

Great advice. But this move of bringing in a QB from the transfer portal! This will be Miilroes third year. Tys second Year. How would you feel? It would not surprise me if both left.. Maybe that's what Saban wants.

Melrose must present himself as a pro quarterback. he doesn't look like one dress like or act like one. Watching him from distance, he looks high schoolish his mechanics footwork isn't professional. First you gotta look the part.

Coker was a better QB than Sims but Saban played Sims because of his time there waiting already and the team would have complained some racial crap if Coker started over Sims…

Ty Simpson needs to get into the portal ASAP - his future is somewhere else
