Jobs Crisis: What Will the Future Job Market Look Like? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

The International Labour Organisation's "Global Employment Trends for Youth 2024" report reveals that global youth unemployment has hit a 15-year low, with 64.9 million young people out of work last year. However, Asia lags behind this recovery. The report highlights how young men are benefiting more than young women, and the growing challenges around employment, education and training, particularly among women. With inequality in opportunities persisting, the ILO has called for collective action to ensure decent jobs for all young people. Palki Sharma tells you more.

Reality of Unemployment is stark . The government has not filled up many vacancies and the pvt sector is busy downsizing. These days everybody is expected to be self employed.

The economic experts have not gone to the Air India job fair where there was a stampede. They should seriously consider going to these job fares before putting out hot air Talk like that. Getting run over in a stampede at a job fair is not the sign of a brisk Job market.

Overworking the employees will always make it easy for employers to save on recruiting more. We are just resources who have to work 24/7 like machines.

The situation in India is worse compared to worldwide. And getting a job is not a big deal. But most of the employees get very low pay. And because of rising inflation, taxes, high investment for education etc. etc., its becoming a challenging time.

If you don't find a means of multiplying your money, you will wake up one day and realize that the money you thought you had, had been exhausted. Investment is a ladder to climb the financial wall.

Providing jobs to all citizens is the primary duty of any right government and politics.
When politics become selfish, corrupt and inefficient, everything goes wrong in political governance.
Now we should replace inefficient and wrong politics with innovative and able politicians who can provide 100% employment to it's citizen.

Projected to be 60% of jobs will be gone or highly affected within 5 years. 40% of jobs are the special skilled jobs like doctor, engineers, maintenance, construction. No more full time jobs with benefits, majority temp by contract or part time jobs with no benefits and less hours. RIP to society

India is in a job crisis, no need to look into the future.
That's First Post for you, completely of touch with reality.
I suspect it's a mouthpiece for the current BJP government.
