The entire song is amazing.. but some high points:
1:10 - 1:20 Vendha raja raja... ending with Shankar mahadevan's long sustain is really royal
1:45 - 1:58 The sitar, kalangal word and the strings in the background are too good
2:03 - Veena and sarangi entry
2:16 - this veena phrase repeated thrice is just 💜
2:25 is just magical.. it is same chords with strings that runs in the background throughout the female portions and then KS Chitra magical entry at 2:34
3:00 - integration of a scene from the novel but in a completely different context for romance
3:10 - you know something big is coming right from here in this song - the strings are slowly adding to the buildup
3:11 - Water and fire; Vaanadhi and AMV - symbolism
3:34 - lyrics in this part are out of the world
3:42 - the use of the trumpet for edhirigal uthiram is just perfect, one of my favourite parts of the song both musically and lyrically
3:54 - the variation in sithariodum.. absolutely wonderful to listen to here
4:27 - yes both singers are singing here.. but Chithra's bass voice has something magical.. you can hear her separately and it makes it just so good.
4:40 - the buildup to this point is too good.. it's so good that you want to listen to the whole song to reach this part which makes it even better
4:49 - layered with harmonised chorus
4:57 -Shankar mahadevan puts so much power to this added with those background bass and strings.. layering peaked here
