Since earning his PhD from Texas A&M University, Dr. Eric Prostko has been a proud faculty member at the University of Georgia since 1999.
There, Eric is now responsible for the statewide weed science programs in field corn, peanut, soybean, sunflower, grain sorghum, canola, sesame, pearl millet, and winter pea which has a farm gate value exceeding $1.5 billion.
He has authored or co-authored of 73 refereed journal articles, 227 scientific abstracts, and 1132 extension publications. A member of multiple scientific societies, and recipient of numerous awards in extension and science excellence, Eric is happy to join us to present on the rise of herbicide resistance.
