The World's Smallest Camera Slider! The edelkrone SliderONE is an amazingly portable camera slider. This video includes some samples and my first impressions.

No stabilization was applied in post for the sample shots, they were pulled straight off the camera.

Yeah I think I'm blown away by how much distance you can still get on your slides with the right lens and placement. I notice when I use a longer slider I don't slide the whole length anyway, just enough for the shot. I might have to add this to the arsenal.

I received mine yesterday. The size and build quality is pretty good, but I have to be honest, this is not the smoothest slider I've used.
First of all, the friction drag mechanisms doesn't do much. In fact if you set the friction all the way down, it results in jerky movements and zipping through the middle section (similar to the same problem with sliderplus).
These are small picks, but for $250 for a tiny slider, you'd expect better performance.

Smart setup my dude. Only thing I would suggest is a longer base plate so that the camera won't make things front heavy or back heavy. Keep it up.

It looks like there's a weird resistance in the middle of the slides. Not sure if that's the product itself or if its shaky hands. Either way it's pretty nice for being a pocket sized slider!

Now that you've had this and had a chance to play with it for a while, have you noticed any issues with the rubber belt having a "memory" of sorts? I bought the Slider Plus Pro (small size) with the fabric cable instead of the SliderOne because I was concerned about it being (and staying) smooth during the slide. It is a known issue with the rubber belt system that edelkrone fixed by putting in the fabric belts. Regardless, I'm still enamored with the SliderOne and wondering if your opinion has changed at all?

Hi Tomas,
I purchased the sliderone and the 577 base plate. But when i put the 577 on top it is sideways once tighten down. did you have to adjust something or did it just screw on perfect?

how did you go about mounting the qr plate? I can't get it centered up just by screwing it on the top....thanks
