Just wanted to say thank you for the video. I have to do this soon as my SRX sunshade was removed by a previous owner. Looks like a lot of tedious work, so I greatly appreciate the time you took to show us all.

Thank you for the very detailed video.! Had it in my watch later for about 2 months and had purchased the aftermarket one from Amazon for $75. All in it took me about 5hrs to disassemble install and reassemble really appreciate it brother.!

Thank you for creating this video. It is the only one I could find on YT that actually showed step by step how to remove the panels. Its great to have a visual reference. I did the procedure about a week ago and would not have known how to start otherwise. It has some tricky steps for sure, but it is doable if you take your time and have patience.

My old one was sagging and ripped on one side. The new one is tight almost like a drum. Part was $82 on Amazon.

Thanks so much for this most excellent tutorial on how to do this. My sun shade just came off the rails. Not afraid to do this after watching again thanks.

Bro your patience to show the whole process is commendable. I am not sure if i can be as competitent but my SRX has this issue and i am mustering courage to fix it. Great work bro.

Thank you for your time to show this tedious process. I’m having the exact same issue with my car shade on my impala. This FL heat most likely added to the issue besides normal wear and tear, literally tear 😂 Unfortunately I will mess this whole process up so I guess I’ll be paying for someone else to replace it. I like seeing the process. Awesome work!

Thank you for the video, It saved me a whole lot of guess work.
One thing I did differently is I had the front edge clips about 2 inches from the rear of the travel and attached the clips and front edge BEFORE mounting the unit. It worked for me.
Thank you again it was a huge help

Why is it that the parts that are most prone to fail, are the ones that require you to dismantle your entire fricking vehicle to fix?

Thanks for filming this. I'm about to attempt this on my Buick Tourx wagon.

I’m this video at 29:52 there is a pin that comes in the new sunshade that keeps it tight just for install. If you do not remove this pin after install and before moving sunshade it will not allow your new sunshade to work or close all the way. It will close about halfway and retract. Make sure to remove that pin. It’s almost like a pin to a gernade. I saw this pin destroy brand new sunshades

Just inherited my mother’s SRX after her death, and got so excited to come across this video. But then I watched it..or most of it. First…I love your tone of voice the whole time, as if this is an easy process. Nothing to it guys…just get your car down to the original creation and you are good to go!🤪🤣

Maybe I’ll glue the piece that’s torn a little and see if that works.🤪

I’m saving the video in case I get brave. Thank you for making it either way!

First of all, kudos for having the courage to take on such a huge project such as this. I do have a couple of questions, if you don't mind me asking.
1. Is the replacement shade you used an oem or aftermarket shade?
2. About how long did this project take from beginning to end?
3. What was the biggest challenge?
4. Any idea how much you saved by doing it yourself?
Thanks so much for your time and effort.

that's a lot of work for a sunscreen! I tinted my sunroof dark with ceramic tint and now just keep the screen open and don't mess with it.

Thanks, I learned a lot of helpful info on getting access to it. Thinking about that, wouldn't be nice to have a small hatch type cover that gives access without pulling everything. I got an
