(Hi original leaker here) - Seems to be alot of information missing from the pre-lim that i described originally, so i'll clear some stuff up.

Like you suggested, the CMF is a combination of figures and car "builds" (They're so tiny, you cant really call them that.). The idea for the CMF is more akin to the racers builds from the early 2000's, being ~20 piece builds with printed heads and helmets ontop. The original pre-lim had these parts as unprinted, but i managed to confirm that they will infact be printed, and hopefully introduce some interesting helmet molds for the figures.

they're still really weird, and shouldnt be a full cmf wave, but i think people are going to be more interested when the photos leak.

I really think LEGO's making this because Hot Wheels is a success. Miniature buildable race cars for just five dollars would be a huge cash grab for LEGO simply because parents would buy them for their kids.

I doubt these are going to sell well, It’s like LEGO knows what CMF series we want, but they just refuse to give them to us. I personally want CMF series’s for Ninjago, Simpsons again, and Mario!

Jokes aside though, it's cool Lego is making a bit of a return to F1, but this feels excessive, like even diehard F1 fans aren't happy about this for one reason or another, and I don't blame them, seeing F1 sets will dominate so many themes next year just.. kinda sucks.

A CMF series with all the F1 drivers would be great for me as a huge F1 & lego fan. This rumour would be better suited as a mario style series like you alluded to though. But I am so hyped for more F1 lego

I've imagined you could probably do a Lego Sonic CMF or two out of some of the notable one-off/minor characters over the years, assuming that all the recurring characters will appear in sets it could be a good way to immortalize them while the sets seem to be more non-specific

My guess is itll be kind of like the German Soccer or Team GB Minifigure Series, where you can get each driver and a small representation of their team's car. (2 drivers, 10 temas, you get a 20 minifigure series)

Please no more boxes, let them go back to the envelopes since many of us want to collect a series of minifigures without repeating them or find the one we are looking for the most, please let them return as they were before and continue releasing very good series of minifigures, thank you very much. 😢🥺🙏🙏
