I will never understand the whole idea of “pride” in your sexual orientation. Aren’t they fighting for equality? What straight person says they’re proud to be straight? It just is. If there’s nothing you can change about it, then it’s not really something to be proud of. You didn’t have to do anything to earn it. I’m not proud of anything I can’t change. I’m proud of the things I have done and accomplished. The whole thing is just strange to me...

I am a senior high school student in canada where it is basically SJW heaven, in class we were required to watch a 12 minute video interviewing "2SLGBTQ+" (yes that's what they called it) I shared my thoughts at the end of class mostly citing how this promotes unnecessary victim mentality, most of the teachers and students counter arguments where "this might offend somebody" and identity politics.
