TRN STM Review - Fun and Spacious

Another fun, affordable hybrid from TRN. With the tuning nozzles, you can push the sound from a fuller V shape to a leaner, cleaner U shape. Combine that with tips and a cable, there is quite a bit of customization that can be accomplished here. I liked the ST1 so I did lean it in that direction and combined with the spacious soundstage, it is a true modern take on the budget hybrid.

One note, I did botch the Armin van Buuren track, look for the Wild Wild Son (Club Mix) not the original.

Trn Stm bass is extraquick and overall tuning is in drums region. Treble sucks but who cares for the price. I prefer these iems to LZA7, Noble k10, Andros etc i have when listening to Meshuggah and Tech. Death Metal. Musthave - doubleflanged cp 230, kbear limpid cable pro if you need a more lean curve (but you loose a little fun these iem has). Source lg v60 and ar-m2. Peace!

Got mine on 11/11 also. I have to say I really wasnt expecting much for the price but they actually sound really good. Im very impressed with these. I prefered the installed gold filters and fitted some JVC spiral dots 👍

"Treble isn't really my thing" exactly what I said, years ago.
Time is scary.
