My first time turning stainless steel. This is on a Craftex CX-704 mini-lathe from Busy Bee Tools and using a HSS bit. I really like the finish.

Thank you for this video! I think I'm going to purchase this lathe.

I'm considering this model myself as a first lathe for making small metal parts. How do you like it after a couple years? Would you recommend it?

I was *just* in Busy Bee today looking at this lathe. I've been eyeing it online for a while and finally went to see it in person. I left thinking it was pretty small. And I had 2 questions when I left. 1 - does it turn stainless 2 - Does it have power feed. You've answered the stainless question. Is your lathe power feed in this video a standard feature, or did you have to modify the lathe to do it? Your 4 year old 25sec video has made me decide to get it. :)

How large of a part can you turn on this? The specs say swing over cross slide is 2" or so, but looks like it could cut bigger from the video.

how do you like your machine? I'm considering the same model as well. Have you done any small project with it?
