I don’t know if they removed it but back in the day id just spawn the block using commands, I remember it would give you the purple part as an item. Haven’t tried it in like 5 or 6 years though

There used to be a thing (I don’t know if it still works) where you step in the portal and break a block and in would still be lit but the block would be broken, then you can do this with (maby)and replace the Brocken blocks with those of your choice
