The song is led by Rudo Tania Madindi. She initially just broke out in Praise just on the day she buried her mother right by her grave with tears in her eyes. It was a difficult time as she had lost her father earlier but in it all, she still found strength in praising God. The joy of the Lord is indeed our strength. In everything, give thanks unto the Lord.

I was homeless and then started sleeping on a family member couch. I was in ministry I usually came home late on weekends. Family member became upset why. I explained but to no avail. I was asked to leave, sleeping in the church and one night the Lord spoke out clearly, "I will settle you" I got a roommate and today 3yrs later I own a home, a very decent one. His promises are yes and amen 🙏

This song helped my mother when my father passed on last year, and it became her praise song even when she was not feeling well. Even on her death bed she continued to play and sing along to this song. She ascended to heaven while we were playing this song and rejoicing, tichipururudza. She was feeling weak on the day so she was nodding her head and lifting her hand to praise and worship God until the time she became unresponsive but continued to breathe for a good 15 minutes until she stopped. Today I finally got the courage to watch this YouTube video since she went to be with the Lord 16days ago 😪🙏🏽❤️. She is (I can’t talk about her in past tense as yet😪) a woman of faith, a woman of valor. 13years of fighting cancer 🙏🏽. I love you mhamha 🙏🏽❤️

I lost my Dad exactly a month ago and I’ve been playing this song the whole day because in Psalms 34, David reminds us that we should praise God through the good and bad times. Praise should fill our hearts every day, no matter our circumstances, especially when we are walking through seasons of great trials.
