Proud One+ Open user, this phone does it all and i love it. I only have one issue with the phone that being the lack of dual volume levels. Other than that i love this one, cant wait to see what the second iteration of this phone. I'll quickly trade this in for a Open 2 in a heartbeat.

I have the three, and I like the Pixel the least. I have used the Z Fold a couple days, and it's a fantastic device, but I really still love the Open the most. It's just the perfect form factor for me as it's just like a regular candy bar phone closed, and a great sized tablet when open. The Z Fold 6 though is super light, and feels extremely premium. Samsung software is absolutely top notch as well.

went with Fold 6. mainly because of One UI and the screen🔥

The thing with the folders. Its cool that they give you the options, but at that size its just an icon holder. Folders are supposed to be for making things look neat and hiding apps off of the screen. If you can see every icon and dont need to even open the folder to launch them, it defeats the purpose entirely. Samsung looks more elegant and refined

The fold 6 now its really practical, more functional, and looks a lot more elegant in white colour or with light grey case. The sharp angle in the corner does the job well.

Was really waiting for this one. Sold my OP Open 2 days ago. Got a great price too, but I just may have to get another one. I still believe it's better than the Z Fold 6.

I like this comparison. Both are great phones and i will be happy with any of them, but the One plus Open won in most aspect. So i think it's the winner.

OnePlus Open all day. I came from a ZFold 5 and switched to the Open and have no regrets. The display size is much nicer and super fast charging is nice as well

I was thinking about getting the Z Fold6, but I ended up getting the OnePlus Open. The $1, 299 price on Prime Day was too good to pass up. The outer display and the cameras were the deciding factors. Plus, you also get a case and charger in the box.

I was surprised hearing you like OP software better. The ONE UI is king of costumisation with the good lock app....

Both phones looks good. I had the fold 4 switched to oneplus. Lost wireless charging but man OnePlus battery last so much longer and charging is crazy fast. Display on the OnePlus is great and stock android is easier to use but camera is slightly better on the fold.

Watching this makes me a little sad LG bowed out of the mobile phone market before Foldables took off. I think they could've had an interesting spin on it, not unlike the 1+.

12:40 Did I just see you do a fluid pich-to-zoom on a YouTube video without it snapping to fullscreen? How?!
This is something I've forever wished to be able to do with these folding devices, because their unusual screen AR usually makes the full screen crop too much, especially in podcasts and stuff, where on the inner screen, it crops people out on the sides and on the cover screen, it crops off their foreheads.

One plus looks to have a closer Apple software. So it wouldn’t be a bad idea if you switch from iPhone to one plus. 🤔

I'm a long time Galaxy Note guy, a near daily S pen user, so stylus support is something that I find very useful. In terms of software, I love that galaxy devices give me the most options, including the option to have a laptop without needing to carry a laptop. I worked on the road for many years, and there were more than a few times where having my note and a wireless keyboard / mouse in my bag was enough to work using a desktop environment from anywhere I could find an available screen. The Fold is the successor to the note, in this hybrid tablet that folds down form factor is not built to prioritize media consumption. It's Samsung's vision of the balanced workhorse device, the swiss army knife tablet that folds down to be a useable one handed device on the go. I do understand the criticisms though, they have worked on perfecting and whittling on this design for a few years now. After this iteration, they should have enough to feel confident that they have nailed the build / form factor and can finally move on to making a more robust device that can achieve greater things. I'm glad that other manufacturers are making devices that are built from a different perspective, there is a valid point in having a tablet foldable that prioritizes media consumption and video. At the end of the day, that isn't well rounded enough for me.

Just like Apple, Samsung knows exactly what they're doing. They're listening to us but they're making subtle changes and deliberately not making the perfect foldable. Widen the front screen(significantly), include a pen slot, and give us a premium camera. If they did this we wouldn't need to upgrade. (They know this). I'm going to keep my fold 5. And if they don't make these changes by the 7th generation I will be forced to seek other foldable phones.

Samsung trade in deals were too good to be true this year! I got the Fold 6, watch ultra and buds 3 pro for under $700 with trade in of my Fold 4, buds 2 pro and watch 5 pro. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Good video. Am I buggin or does the One Plus seem to be the better device?

Have had the Z Fold 6, Pixel Fold and currently using the OnePlus Open. Camera wise, Oneplus Open wins hands down, which is why I switched back to this.

Software wise, smoothness and just ease of use for a foldable however goes to Samsung. There's still some software quirks that I do not like on the OnePlus, Samsung just gives you absolutely everything as an option and with the smaller and bigger screens, being able to customize each differently as well as the split screen options just makes things so much easier.

I'm ready to jump into the folding phone game. Seems like it will be the only way to feel excited for a new phone again. I just wish they had the top end cameras. Think I might hold out for the OnePlus open 2 unless Google has good trade in values for the fold 2.
