The third one I can say from experience, our loved ones are still around, my stepmother passed away about a year and a half ago and I still feel her presence. My girlfriend died in a car accident when we were 17 she’s been following me around since she died. Even my son has seen her, my son was born after she died so he wouldn’t even know who she is.

First story was the spookiest. I wonder if she asked any of the neighbors she had seen on the trail if they'd had any weird experiences in the woods. I'm glad she, her husband, son, and dogs go elsewhere to walk now.

The first story sounds like a mimic.
Old folklore says don't whistle in the woods! And if you hear someone/something call your name, don't answer it.

cool stories. I had a nice dream about my dad not long after he died but outside that nuthin. The waiting room story was creepy and I've also heard of demons being able to mimic voices. that would be extra creeepy.

If you hear your own voice repeat back to you in the woods, it’s a crow or a raven. They’re better with human language than parrots.

Ohh with that first one! My goodness. Nope. Never whistle in the woods. She's lucky it hasn't followed her back to the house, or gotten aggressive. Set some wards on the property!! Yikes. The second one? I did not expect the giggle. I was thinking if you need to be let out, then look for a white light, but you're not coming through the door to ME, lol. That third one was just so nice!! It really makes you wonder who's looking out for us from beyond the veil.
