Was trying to find a video I recall you had done years back about linking repeaters on Echolink and remembered that I hadn’t seen any new content on your channel in n quite a while. And here you are back on YT and have introduced your daughter to ham radio. Welcome back to YT and hopefully she will follow in your footsteps! She’s a hoot!

Brian, your videos got me into Ham Radio -- studying for my general now after getting my Tech in April. I'm also the father of 2 daughters (2 and 9 months), so I hope that one day I can get my girls into amateur radio. SO GLAD TO SEE YOU MAKING NEW VIDEOS! 73 from KQ4QXW in southeastern Kentucky!

Great job, Mora!

Must be a proud dad. My daughter's first qsl was in 1997, and it was via CW, and she was 7 years old. Back in the days when there was such a thing called the novice license. I am grateful to this hobby. It gave me a lot of career opportunities. Mora, if I spelled it correctly. Learn all you can!

Great job, Maura, and great job Dad introducing your daughter to Ham Radio! My daughter, Grace N3ZPD, was licensed at 13 years old, and my 10 year old grandson, Wesley KF8AMV, just got his license 5 months ago. Ham Radio is a fascinating hobby that can open up a whole new world to you. You can learn something new every year and never run out of things to learn. I hope you make the plunge into Ham Radio someday, Maura. Your Dad was beaming with pride and joy seeing you show some interest in his hobby. 73, Dave N3ZPC

KM4VLN here. Glad to see Dad getting his daughter involved. Who wants to bet she winds up addicted to radio and in a few years has a whole shack full of gear of her own? 🙂

Hey Mora, and K4BBL, thanks for the fun video. Mora, at the beginning of the pandemic I randomly found your dad's ham radio channel. Your dad is a great teacher and he inspired me to study and get my Extra class license. Good luck with your studies. 73!

Cool to see! She might not get her ham ticket, but it looks like a future YouTube star was born.

KM4MMD here. Great stuff. I would love to get my wife involved with me in Amateur radio, but will probably never happen. It warms my heart to see a dad and his daughter do things together. 73 brother.

Awesome stuff. My daughter's live playing around with radios, my 8 year old loves tuning in on HF and writing down the call signs of everyone she hears.
