J.C. Poma, director of the county’s Sports, Visitation and Entertainment Department, also presented a check for $2,000 to Hunter Leemon, CEO of Sportable, a community partner with Chesterfield for the past 20 years.
Central Virginia’s premier adaptive sports club, Sportable provides sporting opportunities to more than 400 athletes with disabilities annually by offering a variety of competitive and recreational adaptive sports programs.
