Traeling from Siena to Rome I rode the Frecciarossa from Florence to Rome. The trip from Siena to Florence was on a regional local train.

The Americans want us to abandon the metric system and adopt the United States Customary 'System' of measurement (USC), that is why the speed is expressed here as 160 mph and the covered distance is expressed as 170 miles. We used something comparable with USC in medieval times. No way! Not an inch to the inch!

Thats weird, it normally goes much faster than that, like 300 km/h.
I take it once a week.
