The moment the lecture was done I was like "It's already over??? I was ready to hear more because this was so fascinating!"

Shamayim is a compound word. The letter Shin is the first part .It is the preposition meaning "there". The second part is mayim meaning waters.Translated it means - there are the waters.

Thanks for a very reasonable discussion of the topic. I think God will be pleased with your dedication to your life’s work for His glory despite all the critics and haters.

I personally found 2 rocks with red coral skeletons still attached to them east of the Superstition Mountains which are east of Apache Junction Arizona. We're talking serious desert! My friend who I was with helped me load the rocks into his vehicle. He asked if he could take them in to show to his teacher at Mesa Community College where he was studying geology. I agreed. What I didn't agree to at the time was his generous donation of those rocks to the school. Last year I contacted the school and inquired about those rocks. I KNOW they were on display there at one time but no one there knew anything about them when I asked. Are they so afraid of the truth that they "need" to hide something like this?

So, what would it take to dig into the CMB spectra and find emission/absorption artifacts on the black body curve, if they exist at all? Have we measured it and are just not looking into it? Or have we not even looked into it because the higher frequencies are more relevant to a hot plasma suddenly becoming a transparent gas? Can we even get precise enough readings to find those spectral artifacts? At low frequencies, things get fuzzy, so after enough redshift, any specral artifacts may be washed out entitrely.

And there's also this issue that at the edge of space, physics as we know it breaks down, as pointed out in the video. Is it reasonable to expect that baryonic matter of any form (let alone liquid water) beyond the edge of the universe would produce something like the CMB or form a spectrum we could analyze? If the boundary material enclosing the universe behaves physically, then it's part of the universe.

It's a neat theory for the CMB from a creationist standpoint, but could easily be defeated. Then again, that makes it a great hypothesis. I might have a go at the numbers myself to figure out what we'd even need to do to figure it out.

He keeps referring that KJV is more accurate. I wonder why he doesnt just use KJV instead of ESV

I'm so glad "flat earth" answers all my biblical cosmological questions

There would be no atmospheric pressure in a open system. The Bible says we are in a closed system

I enjoyed this lecture despite not agreeing with everything presented. The major flaws being: a misinterpretation of modern cosmology and the Big Bang, a lack of historical context of the biblical account (what did the ancient Hebrews believe). I would think that a better interpretation of Genesis should include an examination of ancient Cosmology that predates Ancient Greek cosmology.

Okay. At 35:00 you lost me. No where in your presentation did you even approach the concepts of 'edge' of space or 'center' of the universe from Scripture, nor could you. You just jumped right to that as if it had been empirically explained. So, here are my questions. What is the 'light' of Gen 1:3 if not from the sun? But there was darkness on the face of the deep? But that light must be the sun because this is the evening/morning day cycle indicating the rising and setting of the sun, right? Then why place the sun and stars on 'day' four? To me THOSE questions are far more relevant than whether the 'firmament' is anything other than what the verse says: Waters above (rain) and waters below (oceans and rivers). See the problems?

35:30 observationally, our galaxy has to be near the center of the universe. If you look at a top down picture of our universe, and draw a circle around our solar system, nearly every celestial body that circle intersects will have a nearly identical red shift. The bigger you make that circle the greater the red shift, and the smaller you make it, the less the red shift. If we were not near the center, identifying the direction the center lies in would be easy because that direction would be significantly less red shifted than the direction we were moving away from it in.

minute 30:30 you say "does the Bible really say it doesn't rain before the flood." yea, but... Genesis 2:5 "For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth and no man to till the ground, but a mist went up tom the earth and watered the whole face of the ground" I rather like Dr. Walt Brown's Hydroplate Theory as to the existence of water under the firmament.

If you believe the Earth is a spinning ball billions of years old and in evolution you are commiting the sin of believing a lie. Not wanting to be an outcast is no excuse for not seeking the truth. We all sin and will be held accountable for them. BTW believing a lie is the first sin

Excelente vídeo. The Chronoverse is the cosmology of Philochrony. Philochrony is the theory that describes the nature of time and demonstrates its existence. Time is magnitive: objective, Imperceptible (intervals) and measurable.

Dr. Danny is a great teacher on Biblical Cosmology - The Big Bang is really the Big Crunch when the present world will be destroyed and we Christian believers will be gone to be with Jesus!

Genesis 2:6 the water that watered the whole earth came out of the ground and to this day the canopy is trying to reform but as soon as the ice is too heavy it falls to the earth, it would need to encircle the entire earth in one sudden event like an act of God.

If people would stop thinking the canopy was liquid water or vapor, they might be able to come to terms with it. Think "very high density amorphous ice." It is crystal clear, blocks UV light, is magnetic, and is heavier than water. Yes, today it is fuzzy where the atmosphere ends and space began. That would not have been the case with a canopy. The canopy explains a lot that cannot be explained well otherwise. I am not dogmatic about it, but I certainly have not rejected it. As for the earth being at the center of the universe, that is entirely plausible. It has even been confirmed by WMAP and PLANK.
