Havent smelled Profundo yet, but Profumo quite literally makes me weak in the knees. The first time I ever smelled it was when I visited the French Riviera back in 2015 and one night I was walking along the beach in Saint Raphael and a good looking older Frenchman was wearing it and that image has stuck in my head ever since. It's basically like the smell of the French Riviera in a bottle. Just gorgeous.

Profondo for compliments and going out, profumo for work, professional or serious events. Profumo is the best and only cologne I'd recommend for work

I think I love Profondo more but they both are amazing, honestly its pretty much profumo is fall/winter and profondo is spring/summer. I think they really knocked it out of the park with the new ADG

Armani aqua di gio profumo is the best it can be worn all year round at any event, Armani aqua di gio profondo has a soapy and body wash smell to it, seems more of a summer scent i can't think of any event to wear it in.

I think the one on the table is Profumo Special Blend (black and golden colours) but in the pictures rolled on the screen is Profumo (black and grey).
I owned Profumo, I nevee owned Profumo Special Blend.
I will buy Profondo most probably.

Profumo hands down. Although personally I think Essenza is the best ADG flanker

Opposite is what keeps the world balanced. There is absolutely no way to say anything really is better than the other. Perfumery is probably up there in the most subjective things possible. Almost like cooking. What's better steak or chicken?

These two flankers are both epic. The Acqua Di Gio line is without a doubt the most selling fragrance of all time. The math and accounting don't lie.

For me, I really sway back and forth. I think as my palate or what I like and love has taken a full pivot. Honestly when I first smelled the original, I remembered thinking this is in the air more than oxygen so I wanted to not smell like everyone. As much as I liked it, I wanted a signature summer scent that was a little bit different than anything else.

I went with Armaf Sillage, and Bentley Silverlake. Both have a fresh summer scent and both of those last a decade more than most aquatic scents. Especially the Sillage, which is a very good clone of Creed's Silver Mountain Water.

After buying the new Parfum I am totally crazy for the line. I think time has tested these and they are as good now as they were awile ago.

MAN I was hoping somebody would do this vid!! I have been comparing (and loving) them both myself and wanted some other opinions. Though I also prefer Profumo b/c of its “depth” and performance, I do love them both and I do agree that they are quite different. Thanks Steven!

Got a sample of profondo and thought it was decent. Decided to try it again and I have no clue why I didn’t love it the first time it’s amazing

Smelled both today. The Profumo does smell smokey. Maybe the incense/sage, because it reminds me of
a catholic mass. The Profondo was more refreshing, shower clean scent.

Honestly I prefer Profondo and it isn’t even close. I like the sweetness of Profondo much more then the more soapy/patchouli smell of Profumo. While both are solid fragrances I believe, I think I can see myself letting go of my Profumo bottle since I don’t wear it often

I love both.

I sprayed each of these on each of my rist and got my women to smell it.so her favourite fragrance was the original but then i got Profondo and it blew her away. I got her to smell these 2 fragrance and told her what one do you like the most. THAT ONE! She replied.

Her. This one smell amazing and the other one is stinks what it is.

Me. The one you said that stinks is actually your favourite 😂. Her new favourite is profumo

By all honesty, i like profuomo, but when i by accident tried profondo i really and all of a sudden grew fond of it more than the former one. Profondo has a very intriguing spicy, clean soapy type of vibe which is irresistible by all measures.

Very well spoken! Genuinely enjoyed listening to your review. I love Profundo, originally I strayed away from the original ADG due to it being so common and wanting something a bit different. Sales guy really tried to sell me all 3 fragrances I had narrowed down to at the time (Armani code, Profundo, and YSL EDP. Ended up going with YSL EDP and received Profundo as a Christmas gift.) I’ll have to try the Profumo sometime, and definitely looking forward to doing so
