Cotto boxes so elegantly. Only a few throw terrific power punches as he does.

Cotto's footwork is so underrated. He boxes very well off the back foot or moving forward. He showed that against Floyd, but was a little too gun shy in that fight. That gave Floyd too many opportunities to take the initiative. In this fight his movement was excellent, and he also kept his punch out put high. Freddy really helped to bring out Cotto's full potential.

I really don't get why casual boxing fans don't like cotto, he doesn't talk trash and takes every fight they match him up with or call him out on. He's always been humble and just cared about fighting. Sad that after he's great career he is still questioned by this generation as a fighter.

My favorite fighter of all time. Always fought guys in there prime or when they still had some juice, so much heart straight warrior. He'll be missed when he hangs them up

I like Roy Jones commentary. It always sounds like Lampley and Kellerman are just fanboys of the favorite fighter (like when GGG or Lomachenko fight) and they just mention whatever the favorite does. Roy Jones always mentions what the opponent does inside the ring even if he's losing. Puts a better picture of the fight rather than hyping a fighter up. Cotto looked great in this fight.

Cotto is smooth, has punching power, experience and is one hell of s great boxer. His head movement is awesome.
I don't think he has the power to hurt Canelo. Canelo hasn't reall been hurt ever, but cotto has been overwhelmed by punchers before.
Can his experience help him overtake a young, strong Canelo?
This is gonna be one hell of a fight. Go Canelo!

I saw some running from Miguel Cotto, at least that's what it's called when Floyd Mayweather did it. Even the commentators refer to it as BOXING. Geale threw punches and Cotto avoided them. He gets in there when he has to. Sometimes he gets hit landing his own punches but if he sees the punch coming, he avoids it whether by head movement or by moving away. What you're supposed to do. Everything does not matter. If you bash one fighter for using those tactics then you bash them all.

Well my People I have seen this fight before and am amazed that Cotto still has respect and love for boxing, but now time carries the deminishing spirit and admiration for this gentleman sport
