I stepped up when I came home from serving 8 yrs in prison in 2010. I called his uncle and set it all up to get him home. I was a Crip and he a Blood and neither one of us thinks the same as we did when we were kids. I entered prison as a ugly Caterpillar and mentally went through so much growth that I didn’t think like a gang member but a MAN.
