I had my first game as Kayn today in ARURF of all places. While we won without me even having a chance to transform (as we'd have lost our current moment if I backed), it was enough to show me how fun his kit feels.
So imagine my good fortune, coming across this by pure chance. Thank you for the helpful run-down and analysis! I'm definitely encouraged to learn his kit all the more after this.

3:20 this is why I *LOVE* getting a poachers dirk. It's so easy to complete thanks to him being able to take these weird paths it's so difficult to ward against him entering your jungle.
I usually always pick it up on my first back, I know this sounds terrible but it's a 250gold investment, that helps you clear the jungle faster(gives 40bonus damage on your next spell) which tbh is more or less worth 250g on it's own. But if you successfully poach 3camps you net yourself 500golds worth of stats.

I am playing kayn in midlane.
bruiser kayn: I am getting cheesed by some bruiser mid matchup and I am behind.

Blue Kayn: I got at least 2 kills and want to proceed to rape any other squishy laner. And snowball the game.

Shadow Kayn build: Duskblade 1st and all Lethality Items and mobi boots. Finishing up with a black cleaver if the game gets past 20 min.

It doesn't matter how much of each orb you get. It matters what kind of orb finishes the bar. If you get both blue AND red, it'll choose whichever orb you got first. I learned this through lots of testing in practice tool and custom 1v1s :D

One tip as a kayn main:
while playing red kayn try to pick off cocky tanks, your q deals insane damage vs them, they will be surprised when you kill them with one combo.

Regular nouns are nouns that form their plurals by adding either the letter s or es (guy, guys; letter, letters; actress, actresses; etc.). To show plural possession, simply put an apostrophe after the s.

Would like to point out this since I didn't see it in the video or comments.

Whoever you charged off of the entire game doesn't matter. It's the last champion hit (ranged/melee) that determines the form. As an example, I went mid kayn vs a ranged champion and still got darkin form due to hitting the melee jungle last (this is with me getting at least 75% of the bar off of the mid lane)
