I was 9 back in 1988. Brings back so many wonderful memories. So sad that quite a few of the wonderful players and characters of this era have sadly passed away. God bless them all.

Dear old John Spencer and the rest . I love the way Eddie Charlton is saved towards the end. One of the best of many sport and music montages by the bbc. Full marks. Many happy hours at Spencer's club in bolton in the 80's. Thanks John.
