is this suitable to use on fiberglass on the interior of my boat. I need a thread insert that I can screw and unscrew every now and then

They are especially useful for mounting components to metal without grounding them. My motorcyle uses these to mount the ignition coils to the frame.

strength demo was nice touch, but would like to see the inside of the square tube to show its the well nut and not anything else holding the eyebolt.

Great video, really helpful. Sorry if this is a daft question but can you put the nut through two surfaces? I have two surfaces that I think would be better if they had no gap between, I'm wondering if can I put the nut through both and use a washer with a bolt to tighten it up (if you see what I mean), effectively sandwiching the two surfaces together

Can it be used on plastics? i need to put a windshield on my motorcycle but the original metal body nuts are gone, only the hole in the plastic remains. I've been searching and found that i could use either rivet nuts or these rubber well nuts, but these seem more plastic friendly that metal rivet nuts.
