Revit 2023 - Additional cuttable categories

When creating section views in Revit, objects are generally cut automatically when the section plane passes through solid geometry.

However, a few Revit categories have not been cuttable in previous releases; these include Furniture, Furniture System, Casework, Specialty Equipment, and Plumbing Fixtures.

In Revit 2023, cutting has been enabled for these categories.

Simply select an object belonging to one of these categories, click the Edit Family button, and ensure the Enable Cutting in Views parameter is checked in the Properties Palette.
Save the modified family and exit the family editor to return to your Revit project.

Now, when moving a section view line, you will see that the family is cut automatically.
