Kurzgesagt's video about this is also very informative.

I had a teacher who was obsessed with CRISPR cas9. He'd make us recite Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat ("Just rolls off the tongue") every day and tell us to tell it to our parents at he dinner table. He wouldn't tell us what it did or how. Really appreciate the insight in the video!

CRISPR is simultaneously the coolest and most frightening thing I've ever heard of.

I loved this video! I actually work in a genetics laboratory and I am currently studying how to make CRISPR-Cas 9 more accurate!

As someone who's planning to become a biochemist, I find this extremely interesting and exciting.

Quantum Computers are going to allow us to Simulate the results of Gene editing. That is when Pandora's Box will be opened.

Man it's so cool that last semester I did a report on CRISPR in my genomics class and now I'm hearing about this everywhere. Cool to learn about things that are so relevant

Now we have the technology . Now we just need better understanding of cells and the genome

Human gene editing in an egalitarian society: fucking dope shit that would make the world a much better place.

Human gene editing in a capitalistic society: the stuff dystopias are made of.

If you want to understand this better I recommend watching In A Nutshells video on it. It's very well animated as well, they are a great channel!

Vitamin C is made internally by most mammals except humans, most likely having been shut off by fluke in the evolutionary process. Could CRISPR re-activate our Vitamin C making gene and those like it? Because that would be super human.

CRISPR must be THE hottest trend on biology right now since so many science channels are talking about it

Does this mean I'll finally get my *Bioshock* Plasmids?

I'm studying Biomolecular Engineering in college and this video just explained CRISPR-CAS9 infinitely better than any one of my professors or textbooks.

I was fortunate enough to have a speaker come and have a speaker come and talk about crispr as well as some other new breakthroughs in the geneology and medicine.

omg I can't believe this. I worked with CRISPR for my internship this summer. To be able to work with such a new development is amazing :O <3

I've heard of CRSIPR before but this was a more accessible way to present it for me, so thank you. Interested in seeing how it changes cancer research. On that note, you guys should totally do an episode on cancer and nutrition. =D
