When doing laser engraving on painted steel sheets what settings works best? I have been doing dark colors to light colors then the black top coat. For example dark red white then black. Am I doing this wrong? Should I be doing white, red then black?

What material setting would be best for engraving on High Gloss Black Marble material. I don't see it listed and it engraves differently then Black Slate.
