I don't see why people hate Criss Angel. He's not any more of a tool than 85% of the public. He obviously worked really hard to be a great magician and he helped out the Make A Wish Foundation a bunch.

I just saw him in Vegas. The show was fun as one should expect. The venue is really nice, very pretty and great view from any seat. You can guess what parts are scripted but it doesn’t take from the wow moments. But every show in Vegas should provide all of those elements. It’s the least we expect. What truly impressed and touched me was how incredibly and seemingly grateful he seemed to have this show and audience and how deeply he cares for the causes he promotes. Perhaps he was pompous before, I don’t know. I had never seen any of his shows, but I’ve read comments. But that is not what I saw. He talks like a sweet neighbor, and came across as very humble and ordinary w/ a gift for the extraordinary (if that makes any sense).
