CHRISTMAS CANON - Trans-Siberian Orchestra (HD)

"Christmas Canon" is a Christmas song by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra from their 1998 album The Christmas Attic. It often ranks on the iTunes Top 100 Chart at Christmas time.

The song is set to the tune of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major with new lyrics added. The style is a departure from TSO's usual rock arrangements, instead being performed in the style of a children's choir with light accompaniment from piano and strings. The group's rock version is entitled "Christmas Canon Rock", which debuted on their 2004 album The Lost Christmas Eve.

Tomorrow - 13 December makes it 7 years that my daughter Baby Joanna became an angel in In December, when this song started playing on the radio with the combination of the orchestra and the children's voices, my heart leaped! My son plays the violin, Canon in D is my favorite piece and these heavenly voices touched me deeply! This song has special meaning to me and really brings both peace and gratitude to my heart.

love this christmas song. though it hurts to remember that my husband passed away 3 days after my 70th birthday and 2 days after christmas in 2017, i'm still thankful that our LORD GOD never forsake me in my time of mourning. GOD has a reason why HE took away my husband from me, i don't question HIM for it. now this christmas i will be celebrating my birthday and christmas alone, but i'm happy. thank you LORD for everything!!!
