As an American, I’ve never felt especially invested in *any* royals. But, I cannot deny that Princess Catherine is always utterly impeccable.. she’s simply stunning, well-bred, mild-mannered, easygoing and *has never come across as disingenuous* or camera-hungry.
Her eyes are never photographed desperately seeking the closest camera(s)..

William gravitated to the Middletons because they represented the kind of family that he wanted which he now has with his own family. He learned that, while Catherine might fight with her brother and sister (there may have been hair pulling a time or two with my own siblings cough, cough), they remain a close family because they learned how to work it out. He learned how to do that from the Middletons. I think that King Charles quickly learned how valuable they are to William and Catherine and has even benefitted also.

Why is it so difficult for most media to refer to her as Catherine (her preferred and given name) and not incessantly refer to her as Kate Middleton despite being married 10 years+ ... she is HRH Catherine, The Princess of Wales
