Nice reaction! This Wembley version is excellent, with the wing appearing on Su's back. The mid-song stop was even cooler, with her crouching down on the stage.

Excellent, I believe this was the live debut for 'Amore', Wembley Arena 2016. It also always felt to me like the Metal Resistance answer to 'Akatsuki' from the first album. Possibly my own favourite of Su-metal's solos (there's so little in it to be honest, maybe BOH's bass lines and that solo give it the edge).

I was at the Wembley show . This was a new song to me but I loved it I was jumping around like an idiot as usual then BOH’s bass solo made me stop in my tracks. Amazing stuff. Amazing group and Su is heartbreakingly awesome. Seen them loads of times since & they always keep getting better. Seeing them in May again and can’t wait. Great reaction again.

I was really overjoyed to see that you were reacting to Amore. This really was from the golden age of Babymetal. I love both Kami Bands, East and West. But that said there is just an undeniable chemistry and skill with the OG Kami's that...well it's just theirs and theirs alone. I could be wrong but I do think this is the fastest song Su/Babymetal have ever done. My jaw drops everytime I hear this.

And with all the stuff you so artfully described that is going on. And it is intense Su's vocal's just cut through and soars towards that blue star. I always learn something from your reactions. Thanks so much.

"Amore" is a great song, one of my favorites. Underrated, in my opinion, and probably eclipsed by "Akatsuki"... yeah pun intended, again... if you know, you know 😁
I like to imagine it as an epic battle between insanely technical and fast instrumentals and Su’s flawless vocals and overall performance. It hits differently because in her solo songs, Su-metal can focus entirely on singing without the choreography, allowing her to shine both as a vocalist and as a frontwoman. And yeah, I really love that tasty little bass solo by BOH!

The wings are Su’s symbol, a reminiscence from her Karen Girl's era. They’re even part of BABYMETAL’s logo. The original logo also included Moa’s hearts and Yui’s skull, but both disappeared a couple of years ago when they "got a new life" and decided to simplify it. The wings could also be linked to a lyric where she sees the Earth from outer space, though the full meaning of the song remains unclear. Anyway, the lyrics of Amore are much brighter compared to her other solo songs, where she’s either dealing with the memories of a lost love, being chased by a dark entity in an recurring nightmare, or having her heart filled by an endless rain… forever.

Great song that is a bit in the shadow of Akatsuki.
Responsible for the music is Norimetal (Norikazu Nakayama) who is also composer of Megitsune, Yava, Syncopation, Night Night Burn and Arkadia. He contributed to Road Of Resistance too.

The Wings behind Su are super cool. That is a throwback to before Babymetal when Suzuka was the youngest member of Karen Girls. They had a song My Wings that she sang and they did the Wings in a similar way.

Amore is not reacted to enough . My favourite version from Wembley Arena . The Kami band is killing it, and Su's vocals are phenomenal, and her showmanship with that drop to the floor 😮 called Queen for good reasons 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

I agree these melodic songs are some of my favorites. I think it's less of an evolution, but more that they choose to make something else...?
The wings in the original Babymetal logo (before Momometal) represent Su-metal, so it kind of makes sense she would stand on the stage with wings as well at some point.

Su Told that the East Kami Band play just like in their CD/Studio version, ( Japanese Precision at its finest) While West Kami band has so much range.
