Thanks for this tip! I've only recently stared using the python interpreter after experimenting and completing some lessons on code academy, so this will be very helpful.

This makes me think of using chromes 'inspect element' tool, but for inspecting code instead. Playing with inspect element has really helped my with my CSS.

What about remote debugging? I run all my programs in docker containers these days instead of virtualenvs. It's can be a hassle to get remote debugging to work, but it's so worth the effort. I guess there might be community plugins for that as well.

You didn't show how to get inputs in debugger, as the debugging console doesn't take args from stdin you've to use a internal or external terminal instead of the debugger console. Im in linux, the integrated terminal works fine, but i can't get the external terminal option get working. do you know how to get it work?
