MedCyclones: Numerical simulations of Medicane Ianos WRF-ISAC

Numerical results of the Working Group 2 were put together in VAPOR in order to compare simulations of Medicane Ianos in September 2020.

WRF-ARW simulations among 4 different configurations show differences in the development of the PV-tower, as well as the distribution of convection around the center of the medicane, that also modify the upper-troposphere. Visualisations like this, help scientists to investigate the different elements within complex phenomena.
