I spent hours and hours in Richmond Park from 2013 to 2015 when I lived in the area and owned a 1 DX and 500 mk ii prime. This brings back great memories... Being able to get in on my bicycle before sunrise and get in position with the stars still out was glorious.

Another great vlog Dan. I love both Richmond & Bushy Park, they’re amazing places for wildlife. In fact I had a couple of hours in Bushy Park after work yesterday afternoon, never fails to please & there’s always something to see. I 100% agree that first light (& before) is definitely the way to go, but you do need to check the website for both vehicle & pedestrian gate opening times; as these do vary throughout the season (including some closures) - just s tip for others that haven’t been & not a criticism mate.
Some great footage & stills as always bud.
Keep on keeping on!
Best,
Nick

Great video Dan. If you haven't been already try Bradgate Park in the rutting season.

Another one in the bag, took me right back to the 60s when we had family picnics in Richmond Park when I was a lad, we would see the deer every time. I wasn't allowed to cycle in October because of the rut, wonderful to see the park again, loved your video Dan thanks, Derek 😊

It is an amazing place especially during the rut, but as you say after a certain time especially during the weekends or bank holidays can get really busy & almost impossible to get a shot without getting a dog Walker in it! 👍

Very nice Dan. I got my best ever deer shot at Bushy Park which is very close to Richmond Park - two stags with their antlers locked during the rutting season. A great area for photography.

Another great video Dan. The deer and Jackdaw image was stunning. Noticed your deer shots were underexposed slightly, is that personal choice or purely down to the light as they didn’t seem too much contrast with them and the background. Hope you don’t mind me asking. 😃
